Z Grills pelelt grills is quite confident in making hamburgers. The smoked patties burgers we made are very thick and the bread tastes very good. Good bread has a great influence on taste. Burgers are delicious. Half of the reason is because the bread is good. The other half is that choosing a good grill can greatly improve your cooking skills. Believe that you can also make smoked cheese burgers that are better than McDonald's KFC.
Ingredients
1 egg, lightly beaten
½ cup soft bread crumbs
3 ounces smoked cheddar or cheddar cheese, chopped (3/4 cup)
3 shallots, chopped
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ¼ pound ground beef balls or sirloin
4 0.25 inch thick sliced onions (optional)
4 burger buns, divided and grilled
¼ cup mango chutney or cranberry relish
½ cup arugula leaves* or watercress
1-2 ounces of Asiago or Parmesan cheese, shaved

Combine eggs, breadcrumbs, smoked cheddar cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper in a large bowl. Add ground beef and stir gently. Shape firmly into four 1/2-inch thick patties; set aside.
Step 2
Heat a non-stick pan or well-seasoned baking sheet over medium-high heat until hot. Reduce heat to medium; add onion slices, if using, grill pan. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until tender and light brown, turning once. Remove from the pot.
Step 3
Add meatloaf to the pan. Cook for 9 to 12 minutes or until the meat is done (160 degrees Fahrenheit), turning once.
Step 4
Spread the bottom of the burger bun with chutney or relish; top with arugula or watercress, meatloaf, sliced onion, and if using, shave cheese and top of the bun. Make 4 servings.
Preheat the grill according to the instructions of the Z Grills pellet smoker. If using, add onions for grilling, please close the lid. Grill until the onions are light brown. For Z Grills pellet grills, it takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Take out the onion. Add to the pie grill. Grill until the meat is complete (160 degrees Fahrenheit), which takes 4 to 6 minutes. (For open grills, about 7 to 8 minutes per side.) Follow the instructions in step 4 above to continue.
