A T-boned (and its larger cousin, the Porterhouse ) consists of a strip steak and a tenderloin separated by a T-shaped bone. Topping the meat with butter is a trick employed by fancy steakhouses.

INGREDIENTS:

• 4 (14-16 oz each) T-bone steak, at least 1-inch thick.


• Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper.


• 4 Tablespoon butter, room temperature.


If you like steaks above the medium level, it is not a good steak, because when the meat near the bone reaches the correct temperature, the outer edges of bones will become hard and very cooked.

1.Season the steaks on both sides with Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper.


2.When ready to cook, Preheat your Z Grills and set temperature to 225°F,then close the lid 15 minutes.For perfectly flavor, use the 1000 series grills if available.


3. When the z grills pellet grills reaches the proper temperature, Place the steaks on the grill grate and smoke for 45 minutes. Or Smoke and Sear the T-bone steaks until their internal temperature reaches 115°F.


4.When the meat is done smoking,  And top with a pat of butter. (if using cast iron to coat it very slightly with olive oil).Allow the steaks to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
